The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an organization which defines web standards. It has a huge number of member organizations and full time staff which assist W3C to develop new standards. Recently W3C released its new website with a bit more attractive looks and added usability.

We just had an urge to look around the new website a bit and what we discovered is a bit disappointing. We found that several pages are incomplete. And that too pages of extreme importance like Browsers and Authoring Tools. We understand that these pages might be under constructions but if they are then why to put up a link of such pages on site at all.

The most ironic thing we found was that W3C website is not able to validate its own CSS.

We sincerely think that W3C is an organization which should play like a role model, new developers could look upon for web design unlike the developers which build website using hacks and invalid standards just to make more money.
