Although apple is a very popular smartphone, yet when it comes to real-world numbers apple’s share in the mobile phone market is very low compared to Nokia and Samsung. To give you a clearer picture Billshrink created an infographic that puts iPhone into perspective. It asks questions like what will be the next phone purchase of [...]
Google Instant has inspired a whole lot of imitators out there and most of them are surprisingly usefull. Come iTunes Instant the Google Instant implementation of iTunes search.
All of us know to love and hate iTunes at the same time (more so hate if you use iTunes on Windows ). While it is the reason our iPhone, iPod and iPad experiences with media and apps have been so awesome, it is also the most major time waster out there. It is bloated and slow as hell. Now with new layers like Ping being added has only slowed things down so much m
While browsing, we came across some design plans that apple might have used to make their new iPod nano and ipod shuffle. It seems they just split the old iPod Nano in half! Although the picture is meant to be a joke yet it is true that ingenuity comes from simplicity.

Apple has updated their flagship media device, the Apple iPod Touch. While not as groundbreaking an update as the Nano underwen its nevertheless significant.
The Retina Display that we have heard so much about finally comes to the Touch, as does a 3-axis gyroscope (same as the one found on iPhone 4) to improve the sensitivity of the device. It (finally) comes with a camera, both front and back. The rear camera can take 720p HD video at 30fps same as the iPhone, but the stills on it are not the 5 Megapixel as the iPhone but at 960 x 720, same as the video.

Apple has just released the latest iteration of the oh-so-popular iPod Nano. This presents the largest devition from the factor since, well forever!!
The new Nano loses all hardware buttons to make way for a complete Multi-Touch screen. It now has only the volume buttons in hardware form, and its tiny-almost as small as the shuffle, so it has an clip now. The clip makes it easy to clip it on during workouts, jogs or just anytime without the use of those pesky armbands.
Boy Genius Report revealed some shocking pics yesterday. It is an image of a burnt iPhone. The brand new iPhone4 caught fire for no reason. It was just hooked to a computer via Apple USB cable that accompanied the device. BGR confirmed it from an Apple store that it was not the user’s fault but [...]
We told you about a few suspicious apps made by a Vietnam-based Thuat Nguyen which were eating up money from certain app store and iTunes clients. As it turns out, Apple just got rid of all the apps made by this developer. Apple said that the developer violated the Program License Agreement in a way that rigged fraudulent purchases of his e-books. A few hundred users were charged as high as $600 for the ebooks they never purchased. We recommend our readers to check their iTunes account and remove all the sensitive information which can lead to monitory loss.
If you are an Apple App Store customer or an iTunes user then make sure that you check out your bank account statement. It seems that a lot of Apple ids have been compromised and are being used to buy apps on App store. Hundreds of dollars are missing from a few users’ account. It is suspicious that out of top 50 book apps 40 were created by a Vietnamese developer “Thuat Nguyen”. MacRumors forum thread shows that a number of users had their account compromised and hundreds of dollars were spent from their account to buy some apps which they never purchased personally.
As it turns out the fix might not solve the problem at all! Apple is bringing out the fix because it believes that the signal bars at the top of the phone are not being displayed properly and signal is not distorted at all. If this is true then I don’t understand why Mr Jobs was shouting about the way people hold their phone and why did Apple asked its customers to purchase the stupid cases.
