Yet another hacking attack, this time on Reddit. According to the Reddit’s blog, their official gmail account which was used for feedbacks has been hacked. Luckily Reddit didn’t used this account to save any sort of user information so no confidential information has been compromised. Meanwhile Reddit has decided to change their feedback email address to reddit@reddit.com.
According to the blog “We’re in contact with both google’s and twitter’s security team, and the site has not been broken into. All he’s done at this point is ruined everyone’s night. We don’t recycle passwords, and we don’t store passwords in the reddit email. No one’s account has been compromised. We don’t store any confidential information in that account; it is just for feedback email.”
It seems that this email id was associated with Reddit’s twitter account but as per our knowledge it has been recovered.
