Today morning we got invites from Digg to check out their brand new interface and here we present our review about the new Digg.

First of all I would like to applaud Digg for the new look. The color combination is very soothing to eyes and has an instant appeal. I also liked the sidebar which features the list of active people and top news from them more prominently. The “My News” section is very intuitive and has a link submission facility right on top.

We also liked the setup process initiated when you login for the first time. Digg promptly suggests the people you would like to follow and to our surprise the list was quite accurate. We indeed followed a few people suggested by Digg. The second step is to invite people you would like using Facebook, Twitter or Google accounts. We decided to skip this step. Immediately after this we were directed to the “My News” page which we have described earlier.
