Recently facebook has started rolling out a new feature known as Smart Lists for selected users. It will automatically classify the people in three categories:
- People who went to school with you
- People who work with you
- People living within 50 miles
And well, facebook has power to do this and do this right given that they know a lot about their users. It seems that you cannot create a smart list on your own. I would have loved to create a list of people with whom I share some interests but that is not available at the moment.
Looks like Facebook is really seeing Google+ as a big threat.
