Whenever someone says Windows, Blue Screen of Death automatically flashes in my mind. One of the reasons I moved to Linux was this damn screen which would just dump a bunch of stuff in Hexadecimal on my screen and would ask me to restart the computer for no reason at all. It was there in Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and now finally in Windows 8 but wait, it got beautiful!

Yes, now it does not dump any more cryptic stuff on screen but still, nothing can stop it from dying. In place of a standard blue/black screen there would be a gradient blue screen with a frowning smiley hiding all the gory details, asking you to reboot. Just another face-lifts Windows 8 got for its user though I hope users get fewer chances to see it in action :)
