The WSJ has confirmed that Microsoft will introduce their newest mobile phone OS on Monday at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona. Finally a new Windows Mobile OS, God knows it needed the boost.
The announcement will come during Steve Ballmer’s Windows Phone press conference, scheduled for 3pm local time. According to the WSJ, Windows Phone 7 will have an entirely new user interface that closely resembles that of Zune. This is in line with what the other sites have been saying.
Windows 7 it seems will fix problems by working more closely with the phone manafacturers. Project Pink and its Turtle phone are expected to run on this OS. It is still quite far away when we get to see Win7 phones in the market. But hey Windows 6.5 is dead. Finally!!!

no price as yet..only the OS has been released. The phone has not yet been announced. It surely does look like an android beater. So good is the phone that it might even beat apple iPhone. If apple doesnt pull up its pants and get back to work things might start to look difficult. That's how good the OS is.
