They will be deploying this to 50,000 to 500,000 users in America over the next few months (sorry people living in other countries).

With the launch of Google OS for which to perform equivalent to a desktop based OS needs superfast net connection, tis comes as a logical step. It wants to blur the lines between desktop and web app, with all the downloading happening so fast that the user doesn’t even notice.
