Yesterday Google launched a stable release of Chrome Web browser. The browser is now officially out of beta and supports the two much requested features – the bookmarks synchronizing capability and the support for extension (analogous to firefox addons).

Bookmark sync is a cool feature for those who format their systems regularly or use different computers at work and at home. Bookmark Sync synchronizes your bookmarks and make it accessible from any computer anywhere in the world. You can enable bookmark sync to synchronize your bookmarks on all of your computers so that when you create a bookmark on one computer, it’s automatically added across all your computers. To read more on bookmark sync, check out this handy guide.

Google also released the browser with over 1500 extensions ready to add useful functionality to the browser and to the websites you visit. You can find extensions at Chrome extension gallery. You can view and manage the settings for your extensions by clicking on the Tools menu and selecting “Extensions.”

You can download Google Chrome for free and check it out.
