Google news again. Google’s done it again, not happy with the social networking success of it’s Orkut and rattled by the spectacular success of Facebook and Twitter, Google has decided to enter the social networking scene through it’s “Buzz.”  Buzz is the next logical step to Googletalk. With so many friends to chat with in Gtalk, it is but natural to build a social network among them. Buzz is basically status updates that you can share with all your friends. On it’s blog Google said that the reason fro building Buzz is that, with the enormous number of status updates, it becomes difficult to mine through them to come to the ones that matter. So Buzz is like a data mining implementation of Facebook. It’s like Twitter too, you can share your picture(through a tie up with Flickr), videos, links, etc. The mobile version of Buzz lets you add where you are updating your status from i.e location based statuses. Then you can see the buzz from other people by clicking on the people nearby me link or friends link. Let’s see how well it does in the future. Cheers
