It is about time for all the open source enthusiasts to get ready for the OSI Tech Days, Asia’s largest open source conference. Sponsored by giants like Google, Facebook, Ingres and CDAC, this OSI Tech Days will see some of the most awesome-est speakers in the world. While we have another post in line just about the speakers, let me tell you about the things which will happen at this OSI Tech Days, sessions in particular.

The conference would be a heaven for the web developers. There are multiple sessions, presentations and workshops related to PHP, Eclipse and RESTful API. Starting 19 September, the conference would kick off with some awesome presentations on Drupal and PHP, teaching you tools and optimization techniques. Post lunch session will see workshops on RESTful APIs as well as Android development and a session by David Recordon, Senior Open Programs Manager at Facebook on “Building and scaling Facebook with Open Source”.

Next day there would be sessions and workshops on MySQL clustering as well as PHP Documentor. Also there would be a session on building apps for Azure using PHP. Post lunch there would be workshops on Drupal theming, PHP 5.3 and Zend Server. Last day will have sessions on Cloud Hosting, MySQL Performance tuning and an advance workshop on Eclipse

I would like to remind you that I have not posted even half of the workshops. There is too much too see.
