All of us know to love and hate iTunes at the same time (more so hate if you use iTunes on Windows ). While it is the reason our iPhone, iPod and iPad experiences with media and apps have been so awesome, it is also the most major time waster out there. It is bloated and slow as hell. Now with new layers like Ping being added has only slowed things down so much m

Apple has updated their flagship media device, the Apple iPod Touch. While not as groundbreaking an update as the Nano underwen its nevertheless significant.

The Retina Display that we have heard so much about finally comes to the Touch, as does a 3-axis gyroscope (same as the one found on iPhone 4) to improve the sensitivity of the device. It (finally) comes with a camera, both front and back. The rear camera can take 720p HD video at 30fps same as the iPhone, but the stills on it are not the 5 Megapixel as the iPhone but at 960 x 720, same as the video.

Apple has just released the latest iteration of the oh-so-popular iPod Nano. This presents the largest devition from the factor since, well forever!!

The new Nano loses all hardware buttons to make way for a complete Multi-Touch screen. It now has only the volume buttons in hardware form, and its tiny-almost as small as the shuffle, so it has an clip now. The clip makes it easy to clip it on during workouts, jogs or just anytime without the use of those pesky armbands.

From the "It Was Only a Matter of Time Department" comes news that Camera+, the top-rated photography app from developertap tap tap, has been pulled from the App Store, most likely for violating Apple's developer agreement. Apple previously rejected an update to the Camera+ app which would have allowed users to use one of the iPhone's volume buttons as a mechanical shutter button while using Camera+. This is a feature many iPhone photographers have wished for -- tapping the screen to take a picture is far less stable than pressing a physical button -- but Apple cited "user confusion" in rejecting the Camera+ update which included the feature.
