Apple Tablet rumors have exploded in the past few days with reports suggesting that Apple may introduce the device as early as January. A New York Times Blog post by Nick Bilton adds a few tantalizing tidbits about the upcoming device.

As it was known a long time Apple has been working on the Tablet thing from a long time but never felt it was good enough to match “Apple” standards and hence was never released. How the lates iteration of the device has even the very particular Steve Jobs extremely happy. He is reportedly “extremely happy with the new tablet.”
The source also told Bilton that “You will be very surprised by how you interact with the Tablet.” No othe details are offered. Apple has been known to release a lot of multitouch and device interaction patents with many of them finding their way into iPhone and iPod Touch. So yeah we are all expecting Apple to apply those awesome patents to their Tablet.
