Ever since i migrated to a Mac I have been on the lookout for a good Direct Connect client for Mac. On windows DC++ used to work great for me. Initially I used Shakespeer for Mac, it was pretty but its functionality and features were limited. For one, downloads happen form only one source, no auto-grant slot, no upload /download queue, limited sorting option (like sorting users by size of shared content), when getting the file list it didn’t take me directly to corresponding folder and many other things i found normal on the Windows version. Then I discovered Jucy, an almost DC++ features rich version for Mac. It took care to address all of my complaints of Shakespeer. Plus its a regularly updated app with developers working on it unlike Shakespeer. Try Jucy, it might just be wht you were looking for.
