The Financial Times is reporting that Apple rented out the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, its preferred convention center, for a few days in late January. Does this mean all the tablet rumblings are correct?

Likely as not, it means a product announcement. The last time this venue was used by apple was for Apple’s Lets Rock Event which saw the intoduction of the video Nano (blah). Lotsa people are looking at the Tablet, from Publishing houses to Cable TV guys. Either way, we’ll know January 26th, and will keep you updated as invitations and other hints come forth.
