Google has decided to bring its own HTML5 website called HTML5Rocks. The website not only provides some demos but also has some tutorials to help you get started with HTML5. It also has a code playground where you can write code and test it for yourself. Now, of course, the website works well on Google Chrome but it also works with Safari.
