You can now upload any kind of file on Google Docs and not merely the usual office files and documents. Even videos, songs and zip files are good to go as long as they are below 250 MB in size. There are no bandwidth charges but if you want more disk space then you have to spend money at the rate of $0.25/GB for a year.
We read a post on Google’s blog saying that “We have decided we are no longer willing to continue censoring our results on Google.cn“. Google has also written “We recognize that this may well mean having to shut down Google.cn, and potentially our offices in China”. From what we know lots of jobs are at stake. Google and Chinese government should take any decision carefully.
Yeah, after Apple and Microsoft-HP tablets we have Dell. Dell announced thats they are working on an Android based tablet device at CES 2010. It is believed that the screen of this device is of 5 inches in dimension. The other details are not yet revealed but the major kick is that this tablet will be inter-connectible which is supposed to give an incredible gaming experience.
According to Google “Just like chat in Gmail, you can send instant messages to colleagues, friends, family and groups directly from within Translator Toolkit. All the features and settings of chat are the same as what you’re used to, including going on the record to save your translation chats in Gmail.”
Apart from chat, translator toolkit now allows you to change your display language and set the toolkit tabs to open or close by default.Google has also expanded their entries in their dictionary tab, including useful information like parts of speech and alternate definitions.
From what we have heard from Gizmodo they are launching their HP built tablet (or as some people call it, a booklet) tomorrow at CES 2010. The tablet named as Courier is a dual screen device having multitouch screens and is optimized for use with both stylus and fingers. You can draw images, keep a track of your appointments and other usual stuff. It has a camera at the back with battery life and wireless signals displayed along the rim of the screen.
