Nook, the 6 inch ebook reader by Barnes & Noble is doing quiet well. The impressive-looking $260 device with a small, 3.5-inch LCD screen in the lower quadrant, has already been sold out for the year 2009 with a total of about 60,000 shipments for this year. 2009 was a big year in Linux world. With Fedora finally getting rid of its installation issues and Ubuntu giving its user a taste of cloud computing on ubuntuone, the year turned out to be awesome for Linux fans.
